Fell & Sell Roadmap
What is coming to Fell & Sell. Official announcement, 31 August 2026.
Art Games Studio published its official roadmap for Fell & Sell on 31 August 2026. Five numbered stages cover 14 named features. No release dates appear anywhere — the only word about timing is “Soon” on the final Co-op stage. Nothing listed here has shipped as of the latest patch on 3 September 2026. Each stage is described in the developer’s own words from the original Steam announcement.
Stage 1 — Shop Update
The studio leads with the shop half of the game:
- New Bigger Shops — more retail space to build a larger storefront in.
- Customer AI — smarter customers, described as improved behaviour and navigation.
- Furniture Recycler — a new way to manage and destroy old store fixtures.
- Balance Tweaks — a rebalancing of both furniture crafting costs and item prices. This is the only roadmap entry that explicitly mentions item prices.
Stage 2 — Dungeon Update
The dungeon half: harder content with its own reward tier:
- Dungeon+ — a harder tier with rewards the developer describes as exclusive to it.
- New Rewards — loot for completing Dungeon+.
- Enemy AI — monsters described as smarter, more tactical and more dangerous.
- Dungeon Balance — tuning of combat and of the shrine bonuses.
Stage 3 — Death & Taxes
The only stage that names character levelling, alongside a merchant, taxes, goldless crafting and achievements:
- Player Skill System — character levelling paid for with gold, described as a way to customise playstyle.
- Traveling Merchant — a new NPC in the Village, offering what the post calls unique opportunities.
- Taxes — a tax system. No rates or mechanics are given.
- Goldless Crafting — crafting gear without spending gold.
- New Achievements — more achievements to unlock.
The studio’s own framing for Taxes: “The tax collector is coming. You didn’t think you could run a business for free, did you?”
Stage 4 — Additional Content
Explicitly undecided by design — the contents are to be chosen by community poll:
- Chosen by player poll — nothing is named. The announcement says polls will decide the contents; it gives no candidates, no schedule and no voting link.
“We’ll host community polls to decide exactly what extra content, features, or themes you want to see added next.”
Stage 5 — Co-op
Listed last and called the ultimate milestone — the answer to whether Fell & Sell will get multiplayer:
- Multiplayer Co-op — playing the dungeons and the shop with another player. No mode, player count or timing is given.
“The ultimate milestone on our roadmap is Multiplayer Co-op! Soon, you won’t have to face the dungeons or run the shop alone.”
What the roadmap does not say
- No dates. No release date, quarter, season or version number appears anywhere in the post.
- No sequence guarantee. The developer names a first stage and a last one. The three in between are numbered, which is not the same as scheduled.
- No scope detail. Stage 4 has no contents at all by design, and Co-op is named without a player count, a mode or a platform note.
- No price figures. “Balance Tweaks” is the only entry that mentions item prices at all, and it says neither in which direction they move nor by how much.
Announced vs shipped
The roadmap went up on 31 August 2026, hours before a real patch on the same date that shipped the Dungeon Map + Inventory Sorting update — the two features most requested since launch, plus storage-chest safeguards and sensitivity tuning. The roadmap stages themselves have not shipped as of the 3 September 2026 patch.
Roadmap questions answered directly
Is there a co-op mode? Yes — it is announced as stage 5, the “ultimate milestone,” arriving “Soon” with no date. No player count, mode (online/local/couch), or platform has been given.
Will item prices change? “Balance Tweaks” in Stage 1 (Shop Update) covers “furniture crafting costs and item prices.” No direction or magnitude is given. Nothing has changed yet.
When will these ship? No dates. The one word about timing is “Soon” on Co-op. Any page quoting a month has added it themselves.
Is the order a schedule? No. The studio names a first and last stage. The three middle stages being numbered is a list order, not a delivery schedule.

Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common questions.
Is co-op confirmed for Fell & Sell?
Yes. Multiplayer Co-op is stage 5 of the official roadmap, called 'the ultimate milestone.' No date, player count, or mode (online/local) has been given. It is announced, not shipped.
Will item prices change from the roadmap?
'Balance Tweaks' in the Shop Update (stage 1) covers furniture crafting costs and item prices. No direction or amount is given. Nothing has changed in any shipped patch.
What is the first roadmap feature that will ship?
No stage order is confirmed as a delivery schedule. The Shop Update is listed first. The developer's own announcement names a first stage and a last stage — numbered is a list, not a promise of sequence.
Is there a tax system in the game now?
No. 'Taxes' is stage 3 of the roadmap, announced but not shipped. The studio's own phrasing is 'The tax collector is coming.' Nothing about rates, mechanics, or timing is given.
Will the roadmap change?
The roadmap is the studio's current plan. Stage 4 is explicitly open — community polls will decide those contents. No schedule or voting link has been published in the Steam announcement.
